Arktik the happy pup!
Arktik is doing very well. All his blood work post second chemo were really good. We like good news like this π
He loves going for our daily adventures, however today we took it easy. A surprising 95F today was a bit too hot for him as he still has all his winter coat (he does not take any chances with the ever changing Canadian temperature and likes to shed only in June π So we have a few hot days (usually we get this from mid-June to August), we will take it easy and go for early walks.
Here are some videos from yesterday! Not as sunny as the rest of the week but Arktik was very happy.
“There are many coyotes around here, I believe I’m part of this pack. Especially when my buddies howl at night ;). Β They leave scats in the field just for me. So rolling in dry Β (fiouff!) scats is soooo much fun (even if mom is not very happy)….”
And lastly another one just running because this is what we love the most π
Follow up after second chemo
Today is blood work day following our second round of chemo. Here’s Arktik’s opinion about going for another blood work π
And his buddy Chaluppa agrees!
Other than that Arktik is well and happy. He can still run very fast, dig and play with his friends.
Arktik playing inside
Here’s a couple of video showing a bit of Arktik’s life when he is inside. Other than sleeping on the couch, he likes to play with his toys and talking!
The best balls are the one that are destroyed…
The Husky howl ..beware of the noise π
Arktik living the life of a Husky :)
Arktik is happily enjoying our walks in the field with the nice weather we have been having lately (finally!!). Even if he loves the snow, I think he is just happy to be running like this in the grass.
Just before the end of our walk I put the leash back on Arktik to make sure he is coming back home with me (as he is a little bit a Catch me if you can kind of dog..very husky like). I’m so glad I did….
We got a little prickly encounter. Arktik was thrilled! So exciting. Hahaha
